Went for the car show . What lovely big Park , walked to children's play ground. Then saw bowling green went in sat watched few bowling. Got offered tea or coffee . So we accepted and it's free but we left donation . There wanting new members . So all are welcome young and old .

Great place for a picnic or walk. Good for dogs. Also 7 trees have been planted for coronavirus victims.

Nice little play park, nice little walk around too. I wouldn't recommend going during times when the kids are not in school. They seem to be obsessed with making life difficult for anyone who isn't them
The play park is divided into 3 sections. One for small kids, one for the older kids and a sports enclosure, mostly used for football apparently. The area is large and open apart from the toddler park, that is enclosed. Just off of North Road cemetery access can be via the main cemetery gates, via Brougham Street, up at Thompson Street and Whessoe Road. Overall at the right times this is a lovely park with plenty of green space and given you need it a little play area too.

Beautiful Park, Surroundings just shame people still littering when bins ate available. Amazing Park for Big Kids and separate Park for the Little Ones..
