New owners here and they are making a huge difference. Getting the community involved and holding events lime Bingo and the WI mornings. Bike nights and even letting local up and coming bands use the pub as a platform to get themselves going. Can not fault them

We were seated swiftly and the waitress was attentive and helpful. Ordered the veggie mains (there are a 3-4 veggie options) which were good. 8 out of 10 for the meal. Very reasonable prices too. Car park was a bonus.

Great place with friendly staff and good choice of food which is full of flavour and well cooked. The beer battered haddock with chips, mushy peas and home made tartar sauce is fantastic. Especially on a Friday at a special price if you order two. Will be back without doubt.

Great pub in Hope with excellent selection of real ale. Very good food and plenty of outdoor seating. I had both ales from the Eyam brewery. Excellent.

Visiting the area for the weekend and called in twice. Very dog friendly, and generally a warm, welcoming pub. Ate there on Sunday and it was excellent, very attentive young waiter who looked after us very well.

just on my doorstep .hadnt ever been here before for food . it was actually really good food . chef came out to speak to us . the food was good quality and value for money . it was quiet and we took a young baby with us and 1 veggie and 1 who cant eat diary -chef explained what was in all meals and he made her a seperate meal and dessert .staff were friendly and attentive. changing facility for baby in ladies toilet . would eat here again .

This old pub is seeing a new lease of life thanks to the recent refurbishment....
My wife and I have enjoyed both the food and drink here twice recently and will be returning. The staff and the new look make for an excellent atmosphere.
