I visited the place in December 2015 from Sharjah. The biggest attraction is the driving through the curvy road to the top. The road is winding an there are well maintained pit stops all along the way where you can stop to have great views of the valley below and the road. The views from the top are breathtaking and even in hot summer it is quite cool at the top. From the top the border with Oman is visible. The chilling wind made the hilltop a special place.

Amazing place. The clean and safe road makes the trip fantastic. Make sure your car has good breaks and tires because some corners on the road have sharp slops. You can find clean washrooms and kids playing grounds while you are driving to the top of the mountain. I didn't see cafeterias in my way, but there are places to eat your food if you want. By the way, there is a hotel at the top of the mountain.

Wonderful experience, in my opinion, try to go on weekdays.... during public holiday the place was crowded due to that we can't get the exact hill station feeling also keep some snacks and water because the shop that situated in the top that was closed so we can't get anything from there.....
