Wonderful park with lots to do and see.. wether you're looking to walk the Roman wall or visit the priory, there's lots to see. Great play areas for children at the site of the old Norman mot and bailey mound. Cricket, free toilet facilities and a reasonable priced cafe all on site. A great place to visit and completely dog fee ,( sorry dog owners, in this place dogs are banned ???? )
Well worth a visit.
Highly recommended.

Brilliant play park with sand pit and small climbing frame, and larger frame and swinging tyres for older ones. Lovely relaxing field with lots of shade provided by trees.

Lovely park, no dogs allowed though. Good for a picnic in summer. You can watch some cricket in the summer.
Decent playground and sandpit for kids, close to the town center and there is also a nice cafe in the park and some budgies...

Lovely open space, often has cricket on in the summer weekends. Good play area for kids and cafe is decent too

Well kept park with a small historic priory building and a good view of the cathedral spire. Pleasant place for a short walk, but dogs are not allowed.

Good for a walk and to relax. No dogs are allowed.

Can catch a cricket match over the summer months.

An oasis of calm and peace. There's lots of history here, the park is partly surrounded by Roman Wall and has Norman remains from a motte and bailey. There a nice coffee shop with outside space to sit and enjoy the views across the park.

My fave place to walk around. It is so lovely and peaceful, some benches to have food on and cute squirrels.

There is also a cafe very near by in the park
