A calm place to reconnect with the nature. Tranquil feeling as you walk through the mangroves. Especially in the evening the setting sun casts a mesmerizing backdrop. The walk is fantastic and it costs 15 AED per person. Go with your family.

Nice and calm walking place in Abu Dhabi, the walk is about 1 h to complete. It is a welcome change from busy Abu Dhabi. We saw different fish and birds, but unfrozen did not see any turtles as was advertised. It is a nice outing for the family, but I would welcome more interactive activities around it. One of the few options is canoeing.

Was ok. Not very much to see. Just lots of crab and mangroves. Its an hour walk and you have to make sure the little ones go for their pee stops before the start of the walk as theres nothing until the end. very well demarcated pathways and a lovely serene walk especially around sunset, the views and nice from the view point but nothing to write home about. Tad educational learning for the kids to respect and encourage green habits.

At the entrance you can buy tickets (15 AED) , souvenir, snacks and coffee.

Visitors can walk around ( appx stretch 2kms), you will find small sitting arrangement along with geo information and watch tower to get the top view of the mangrove. We went on Sunday afternoon ( April'23) luckily it was not sunny.. So had a great experience.. You will complete the walk in 1 to 1.5 hrs excluding kayaking or boating activity.

We could see marine birds, fish and small black crabs only. Overall clean and not so crowded place. Recommended timing 4:30pm onwards to capture sunset hues. Kayaking happens only during high tide. Tour guide or forest ranger can be booked at additional cost (25 AED)

Nice walkway through the mangroves. It's a pretty long trail if you want to go through the whole thing. Better to visit during sunset and sunrise time. Not much to see once the sun has set. Entry fee present, can even book tickets online.

I went to the mangrove recently and was very disappointed. It was apparently low tide so there was hardly any water! It was so dry. Just mainly sludge and not much to see. I understand that maybe because of the time of day and it being summer, water may be low, but at least let ppl know on the website of the best time of the day or year to come to avoid disappointment.

Nice place to experience some nature in Abu Dhabi. Watch for the tide before visiting (must visit at high tide). Complicated to access at the moment because of road works on the highway.
