Recommend items : payakanji, crab roast

Highly recommend spot for fish lovers. Very economy pricing , good staffs & good Quantity. This are the main highlights of here.

FYI : Don’t compare this place with other fresh palace. This one is really unique , Good food and budget friendly.

Eat fish at your own risk. They sell rotten fish to customers. Had a terrible experience. I will never order again.

The food was good, meaning it met the expectations and was adequate in taste, quality, and presentation. It may not have been exceptional, but it was still enjoyable and fulfilling. Overall,
price is bit higher

5 star when it comes to food.
Not an ambience or fine dinning family friendly place. Always jam packed during lunch hours even weekdays or weekends

They have different types of Kanji , Chatti choru options and Fish. These are the specialities.

Very limited space is disadvantage and less privacy because of the crowd. Overall it is good

Tried Jeera Kanji and Squid masala both tasted good

Beautiful woods to take the dogs or kids with some really nice walks. There a lot of trees that have been blown over by high winds and they make the place even more interesting. There is a good mix of tree species and lots of ferns and heathers. Will definitely be coming here again. There are no bins so if your too lazy and can’t be bothered to take your rubbish home or are simply brain dead and litter then please don’t bother visiting.

Mixed woodland although much of it is slowly being returned to deciduous woodland. Both highland cattle and konik ponies graze the wood. Art walk is lovely with full disabled access and good paths. Rest has normal earth paths that get muddy and rutted especially in winter.

Great walk. Good parking at junction between Thornden Wood Road and New Road. Woodland is managed by the Kent Wildlife Trust and their hard working volunteers - many thanks. Good for elderly, disabled and pushchairs. Sculpture trail is a great fun. Thornden meadow is well worth a visiting too.

Lovely place for a walk, there's loads of wood carvings and things to look at and play on for the kids, parking is free. Plenty of places to stop for a picnic and loads to explore

Great area to take the dog, but unfortunately people are not respecting these beautiful walks. I counted at least a dozen dog poo bags deposited next to walk way.
Are people too thick to understand the bags don't degrade or are they too lazy to take it back to the poo box at the entrance.
Additionally, there were empty water bottles, plastic bags and banana skins laying around.
Come on people it doesn't take much to look after the place for others.

It would be amazing if UK could turn back into this completely. Imagine returning the entire island back into this beautiful, wild, woodland. And still have a few major cities dotted around. How much better would life be for Brits and animals?

The payment for parking is a nightmare. Make sure you have the RingGo app before you go. If not you will find limited internet signal plus you need your credit card. Takes ages to register and very confusing. Limited parking so best to go out of season and in term time.
Pleasant coppiced woodland. Shame about the dog poo bags everywhere. Flat walking so not strenuous. Some interesting very old tall coniferous trees. Look out for the big wood ant nests and the white wood anemones.
