Just had the best facial ever with the lovely Kerry. I cannot describe how wonderful it was and so relaxing. I 100% recommend this amazing treatment. It's the Glow facial. You won't be disappointed. Brilliant. Best salon with the best staff. Wonderful XX

This is was my first experience visiting the salon and for sure wont be the last !
Having everything all under one roof is fantastic so you can relax from the minute you walk in.
I had my hair done by the fantastic hairdresser, then onto have my nails and tan done by the very knowledgeable therapiats. They recommended the best type of nails to get done to help them grow and strengthen.
All the staff are very down to earth and help you as much as they can which is always a bonus

All ready booked my next appointments ☺xx

Love visiting The Academy. All staff are lovely & welcoming. Simona cut my hair for the first time today & I am delighted with it. She took time to listen to me, making suggestions & was just really friendly & professional. She also cut my teenager’s hair recently which was lovely too. We have found our new hairdresser!

This place is amazing and streets above any other salon ive ever visited, and believe me there has been a few. They go above and beyond and are exceptional at what they do in the beauty fields. I have had nails, waxing, massaging, facials, make up etc done here and loved every visit. They will also do a spa day with afternoon tea. And have an amazing training centre. Professional and friendly. Keep up the amazing work ladies!!

Went to Urban Retreat today for eyebrow wax and tint, eyelash tint, gel polish on toes and acrylics. Kerry and Jenny are both lovely and so friendly, i am so happy with all the treatments i had, i can't wait to go back for more. The salon itself is beautiful and I will definitely be reccomending to friends and family.

On my first visit to Urban Retreat at The Academy, I was nervous at going to a what thought would be a very female environment. I was looking for deep tissue massage for muscle pain. I was made to feel so welcome and relaxed and Siobhan my therapist was excellent so knowledgeable about what I was looking for. The salon is very relaxing and welcoming and the massage was absolutely fantastic. I won't hesitate to book again.

The salon and academy is stunning such a tranquil place, I go regularly for waxing, gel nails and poly dips and each time I am delighted. I have also had my make up and lvl lashes, massage, derma-planing and I am booked up for further treatments, can’t wait to get derma rolling. They have recently put in a hair dressing salon and I have had my hair up (couldn’t have been happier) the staff are amazing so friendly, I feel like part of the family. If you’ve not tried the salon I would throughly recommend it! My friend has booked into the training academy for a course and I can’t wait to hear how she gets on.

First and foremost; you get a great haircut - that is what we all want. Simona is the stylist I have, and when you feel you've got the haircut you want every time, you have no reason to look elsewhere.
But here is the thing...as Customers we all look for more, don't we?
So - it's easy to get to. Plenty of parking. There is a security door - and I like that. Never have been fond of sitting with wet hair, or worse still foil packets....and anyone walking past glances in, or just stops and laughs!
None of that - it's a secure building.
Then it's the "look and feel" of the place..... it's modern, there is a good 'vibe' and there is plenty of space. Comfy seats if you arrive early. Very very lovely lady on the reception desk...bit of chat and laughter. There is good phone signal too (always a bonus!)
Everywhere offers a drink....and perhaps we take that for granted, but it never feels like it's a chore for them.
I like the range of make-up and other treatments (not brave enough to try anything before.....but I might there as again I like the privacy). If they train, then they have to keep up to date with modern practices, latest tools (and in my mind, must have to be registered or compliant with rules and regulations).
Long review.......but they impressed me, and I wanted to share so others get the benefit of a Customers' point of view.
