Don’t moor here. You can’t get to street level or under the other bridge as they’re both gated and locked up! We had to go down the canal and ask some ladies who live on the local park private moorings to let us out to street level as we were stuck without any way of getting out!

The 251-meter-long Maida Hill Tunnel in the Maida Valley district is one of the three tunnels of the Regent's Canal. The tunnel, designed by James Morgan, was opened in 1816. The tunnel certainly does not deserve a beauty prize.

Amazing history about this tunnel and Regents Canal. Worth a walk or take a boat tour with commentary.
