An amazing friendly club to learn to fly, taught for free by qualified staff, just pay for your annual subscription and flights. Or come along for an air experience flight with no commitment to join.

Very well run centre and extremely friendly staff. Went for a gliding experience with a view to start training and was given clear instruction including a commentary on cloud formation and thermals. It was very inspirational and will be continuing my training at the club.

Great experience made more by the instructor who was informative and friendly thank you highly recommend especially going over the white horse.

When I purchased a voucher I had to contact them as the voucher was not sent within the time frame that was promised.
The response was prompt and the voucher was sent within good time.
However I have made numerous attempts to contact them regarding limitation on using the voucher and have had no response whatsoever.
I feel like they are not being helpful towards my circumstance as my partner has health conditions. I must also state i was unaware of this until the voucher was discussed. After speaking with his doctor, this means he is unable to use the voucher i have purchased. I have been trying to explain this to the company and request a refund. This voucher was only purchased 3 days ago. I feel ignored and find this to be a rude response.

What a wonderful place.

Very friendly staff and club members, very professional and very good instructors.

Today was my first visit, and I cannot wait to get back for my next visit.

There is no words to explain how nice and great life experience I've had with them, warm welcoming
Friendly and professional people, I thought they know me for ages, they knew is my first experience and all around me and giving advice to make me confident and comfortable, thank you is not just enough, I really appreciate you guys ,Love xxx

Today I had a great flying experience with York gliding centre, a very relaxed and professionally run centre. I felt at ease in the glider and was fully instructed on how the glider controls work.
I would highly recommend a trip OR voucher for a loved one to experience this flying thrill.
