I was at a doctors appointment and trying to get a taxi to take me home. I only had two numbers. One number kept ringing and the other said it would be an hour till they had anything. Luckily I overheard a nice lady ringing a taxi and I asked her who she rang. She kindly showed me the number which was for Esk Taxis. I rang and got a taxi to take me home after about ten minutes waiting time. The car was immaculately clean. The driver was friendly. The fair was cheaper than my usual taxis. Would highly recommend you give them a try.

Roger was recommended to me to use for a group gathering which eventually became smaller and smaller as time went on.
We pushed ahead with our safe and secure gathering, utilising Roger and his colleagues to assist with moving in and out of Whitby.
He wore a mask, opened and closed the door, gave tips on where to go and adapted his day to move around ours.
Thank you Roger for being professional, courteous and patient with us...we would have no hesitation in calling you next time we are in the North East.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY
The taxi we booked well in advance was overall an hour late, they made no attempt to notify us of their arrival despite having our number. Instead we were told to wait for the car outside, in the cold, on the side of a pitch black, busy country road. Both uncomfortable and dangerous. When confronting the driver (who said the company was his own) he made no apology but instead tried to undermine me. The whole service was disgraceful. If you are a vistor to Whitby I would recommend Abby Taxis whose service so far has been great.

I used Roger (Esk Taxis)to attend my covid vaccination two weeks ago and my wife used him two days ago (different age groups) first class service very professional and we would deffiately recommend him .

We booked in advance to be picked up at 12 midnight and they failed to turn up even after repeated calls to them in which they kept giving silly excuses.
Unreliable.
