I walked in first time at outlet-SEEF MALL Muharraq in bahrain Wisebuys
I was amazed with the items and clothing stuff- I was so much tempted to purchase yet I had not planned or intend to shop that night since it was almost closing hours.
still I was convinced by one of your sales colleague who shared about GANT trunks as I was gazing at the offer BUY1GET1.
I wanted to go for a cheaper option of trunks -but there were no sizes available in them so I picked up the one that had sizes I was looking for and realized they were high in price when i almost reached the cash counter since they were wrapping up to close the system i impulsively made a decision and bought this BHD 28 GANT pack of 3 trunks in one and got another free worth BHD 26.
it was a Valentine gift for my husband who works in the same mall few stores away.
And as soon as I completed the purchase i waited for my husband to walk out of his store and handed over the gift. he refused and asked me to return it same time and request for a refund.
it was unexpected - he was upset that i purchased an expensive gift for him.
I have never spent so much for TRUNKS ever- it was my first time and my first visit to your store I was totally impressed and thought I would make my husband's day by gifting.
I Convinced my husband to keep it- but he refused and said that I shouldn't have made this purchase so we walked back to check on if we could request them to cancel the transaction same day and get our refund.
By the time i returned like a few moments later- they had already closed.
my husband said its Ok we can return it tomorrow as it is a sealed pack item and untouched.
SO, first thing today he walked into the store and requested for a refund they simply REFUSED.
Claiming it is a rule by GOVT.
Agreed we are consumers and Inner garments or trunks if worn can't be returned due to many reasons.
I totally understand the rule.
yet It was a gift and I just returned back in few minutes not that I wore it nor did my husband.
so how is that possible that i can't have a refund for a packed item which was unopened and untried
