TBYC is fantastic with the best outlook on the seafront. The staff are amazing and the restaurant wonderful and accommodating. Our chef is the best and does everything to make our food exactly as we want it. Thank you everybody at the Club

A great club all round with fantastic facilities and a welcoming approach to those of all ages and abilities. I joined 18 months ago after a break away from sailing for 25 years and can say it has been a fantastic experience. If you want to get back into sailing from being away for a while I can highly recommend the club and in particular the Sandhopper open keel boats, they offer fantastic competitive racing and you can use them for cruising around the estuary! They are the largest one design class of open keel boat on the Thames as TBYC has 30 of them afloat!

A fantastic walk along the seafront from Thorpe Bay to Southend, there's always something new to see.

Visited a couple of times with a Member. Lovely staff and great food. The chefs personally comes out to say hello. Nice guy.
