Just been told of the lady on the reception they don’t deal with hay fever anymore because I can get everything from the pharmacy over the counter so I asks ok what’s the nasil spray called avamys 27.5 i wrote it down went over the road to boots and they told me it’s prescription only they don’t know what there talking about at that doctors! Had to ring back up got the same girl who tried to fob me off again when I eventually told her I’m in the pharmacy they said it’s prescription only I’m actually stud here trying to get it then she looked a little closer and said oh ok I’ll have to get a doctor to prescribe it to you….. well yes you idiot….. I said that’s all I’ve wanted was the correct information they honestly can’t be bothered with you down there!! Possibly the worst receptionists ever

Many of the staff here are really nice and take the service of "health service" to heart. Some less so - and the systems operated seem designed to make getting to see doctors, getting repeat prescriptions and routine reviews all too difficult.

Had to contact surgery hoping to register as a temp patient whilst in levens on holiday.
Tried my own gp for three days before our holiday without getting appointment.
So pleased and grateful for the efficient professional service offered by ash trees,especially when you need medical help whilst on holiday…..just wish I could have this practice nearer home you are very lucky people if this is your surgery. and dr Kelly was a breath of fresh air in her approach can highly recommend.

Unfortunately I have been a patient in Surgeries from Gloucestershire to Cumbria - However Ash Trees are by far the best - From Speedy Prescriptions to Highly knowledgeable/Helpful Receptionists to same day Telephone Consultations and Home Visits they are unsurpassed - You are not just a voice - you are an Individual who is always treated with the very best medical aid the NHS provides.

Reception asked what the problem was and I said 'I'd rather not say' and they said they had to know? I understand a policy being in place to ask but if I've said I don't want to say I presume that's fair?

Absolutely shocking. Today, I phoned their receptionist at Carnforth to complain about the constant (more than 10) unsolicited texts that I am receiving from them requesting that I book a Covid 19 jab with them. I am not a patient of theirs and requested that the texts stop. I found the receptionist rude and offered no resolution to my request. Further, she stated that I was not the first person today (who is not registered to them) to complain. This must stop or I will take further action. Enough is enough.

Very dissatified my chronic illnesses review took 8mins bloods, weight and blood pressure, rapid medication overview and bye bye. No mention of any chronic illness and got the impression you were not aware of any of my health history. All in all not worth the paper it was written on should have stayed in bed instead of forcing myself to the app whilst still suffering from a chest infection. Poor show all round heaven help us oldies.
