I contacted Les in regards to selling an inherited train collection. He responded very quickly to my enquiry and was professional, honest, and helpful throughout all communications. Les offered a very fair price for the collection and arranged a date and time to collect. I’m a very good judge of character so knew before meeting him that I was dealing with a lovely man. However, my expectations were exceeded when I met him in person! It genuinely was lovely to have the pleasure of doing business with such a wonderful gentleman! Les kept to our arranged time and date, payment was immediate and exactly what was agreed.
I would highly recommend contacting Les if you are looking to sell models, he’s so genuine and certainly won’t try to rip you off!

Check other dealers as well as the price I was offered was around 70% less than big dealers like Hattons of Liverpool and Rails of Sheffield. £3000 as around £9200 from the above.

Used Cash for Models recently and can honestly say that I'm more than happy with the service they offered me. Les was a really great guy and is extremely knowledgeable about his industry. He offers a very friendly and fair service and he made the whole process very stress free. I did not feel pressured in any way and I would.highly recommend his services to anyone who is looking to sell on any old/new model railways, toys etc....

My dad recently contacted Les from Cash for Models as he had some railway collectables to sell. He was delighted with the valuation he was given .Les was a lovely man and would recommend Cash for Models to anyone interested in buying or selling.Excellent service and one very satisfied customer ????

Do not buy or sell to this guy rip-off he will tell you one thing till you get there then he will rip you off big-time danger

This Gentleman turned up without an appointment and tried to offload a bag of badly presented items that can be found in charity shops, not for me thank you

Went down on the 9 February he offer me 82 pound the Thomas linkage is Brand-new
The are all still in the boxes with the certificate from Bradford exchange
At that time I decided against it but then I decided I change my mind so I phoned him up on the 12th he was busy and I said I’ll come Wednesday which I phoned up on a Wednesday two hours before I came up and he said yes I’ll be in till 2:30 so I went down 20 miles it took me to get to there and to lie barefaced lie about the items I was gonna sell on the brand-new if anybody emailed me I’m happy to send you photographs I have nothing to hide he’s got everything to hide when you keep your word you should stick by your word not when you get down there suddenly knock nearly 50% off and then lie about it this is the type of person you deal with so if you can don’t buy or sell anything from this guy or listen to a word of what he said
