Stopped off here on while doing a lap of Windermere for a coffee and sandwich, lovely Sandwich coffee was spot on and a great view

Lovely crew. My cousin went with his little one n they had an amazing time on the boat. Very informative crew. I n my cousin's wife stayed back with li'l ones. There is a lovely cafe with a lovely space to sit n have a little picnic. The cafe serves fab tea and has a variety of hot n cold food. Separate toilets for male n female are present. I loved my time there in the sun, next to the lake..

I was passing through the road and saw the brow plate for "Fishing" and decided to check it out. Best decision taken. Amazing place to enjoy peace and big fishes (released just after this quick photo).

Wild swimmers using the lake and exercising our right to roam in a lake which is many thousands of years older than the fishery, forced out of the water by a man on a motor boat which was belching out diesel. We clean up after ourselves, we move under our own steam. We respect and enhance the environment, collecting litter where we find it. Mass trespass?

Boat hire on this beautiful, tranquil lake. Mainly for fishing but we hired a boat just to have an hour on the water (£25). Osprey nesting but we didn't see them today. With lovely cafe overlooking the lake.

Dave and Jim made fishing the highlight of our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, we rocked up and had the jetty to ourselves catching everything from Minos to a Bream of a lifetime. Amazing. Thank you. We’ll be back for a guided tour next time. Esthwaite is stunning. Thank you Savage Fishing.
