A very kind lady wrote a review (going by Gnostic Tarks) and I want to commend and stand by whatever she said. It is the harsh reality of this school unfortunately and a similar experience has taken place with my child as well. Please do not pay such ridiculous fees for your child for a despicable school like this!

The teachers are abusive towards us (the students looking for knowledge, who will guide the future) They put their students under big stress with barley enough fun activities,ADEC guidelines forces teachers to give students a moral education period each week but it ends up being a "gl assesment exam revision" which will only increase the school's rep and get new admissions. They don't help you learn as Whenever you ask any teacher for extra help in a subject they just go with a "YoU veReN'T bAyInG YaDensheN yEn yELAss" (even if u were)and just leave you hanging there without help.. no wonder why my class's whole average mark together is 40% ????. On top of that class teachers see bullying and physical fighting without taking any action except recording and sending it to their parents????????. Sumarry: please dont go, you've been warned

My child told me that the teachers told him that they dragged a student from his class in shackles and chains across the ground to the police where he taken in custody and was investigated for a crime! What was his crime can you imagine? He made a video where he inserted a joke about his teacher. Thats it and this story what the teachers have developed to tell the whole school so students remain terrorized. DONT SEND YOUR KID TO THIS CIRCUS!

Great outstanding school. Budget, teachers and curriculum so satisfying so far. You can compared to other schools ......yes most they are see nationalities. Not only Indian Pakistan, many Nationality there USA or even Local or many Arab it's international and global.

Al Nahda is better than this joke of school. your child might get better grades but also get bullied by teachers and lose motivation in everything else

DO NOT ADMIT YOUR CHILD HERE. PARENTS, PLEASE CONSIDER THIS. I hope I can contribute some anecdotes to this for other parents. My child was admitted at this school in her middle school years and graduated from there, too. In retrospect, I do regret sending her to this school seeing the unbelievable emotional trauma the entire experience has inflicted on her and her friends. I keep coming to read reviews about this place to see if the public's view has changed, as I am trying to see whether I should take the school's irresponsibility with students to legal grounds. The academic aspect is mediocre at best. They heavily emphasize about their grade averages, and the students are certainly trained to exceed, but at what cost? Students are put through immense pressure, all the time. The teachers can be awful bullies. There is religious discrimination, forced prayers, discouragement of healthy friendships, and verbal abuse. How does all of this go unnoticed by ADEC??

This school also enjoys laundering money - selling public domain past paper books they printed for a ridiculous price to unknowing students - when they can just print it at home. There is public promotion of extracurriculars, but from the insider POV, nothing ever happens. Students were not allowed to swim, play in the robotics labs, or participate in a variety of sports despite what they promote. Needless to say, my girls did experience plenty of sexism from teachers AND students alike! It's disgusting how they treat children - they resort to physical violence, and instead of motivating them, the students are threatened with physical violence as well. During inspection periods, the students are told to behave their best sometimes in exchange for good grades, and the entire school undergoes a makeover that lasts the inspection week.

After that, it all goes to normal and none of what ADEC sees is permanent. Merryland's staff get a sadistic kick out of lying about students to other parents, invading privacy (both my girls' Facebook accounts were hacked by them, despite my children having my supervision), they enjoy breaking childhood social development and promote gender segregation. Overall, the environment is extremely toxic to many students - and so I understand why some parents provide good reviews - because of their extreme compliance with conservative practises.

There is also a religious/Christian undertone to the school. I did not send my kids here for them to be told that God is the reason physics is the way it is, or that God created man and that evolution is only textbook science. There is also evident bias and hatred displayed by staff towards children of other religions. It's intolerable and immature! Teachers, keep your religion and opinions at HOME. Stop indoctrinating innocent children and stunting their PURPOSE OF GOING to school! They also threaten students to avoid spilling this to their parents. All of the unnecessary drama and lack of emotional education without a doubt stunts the students' academic abilities that they preach about. As a psychiatrist, I sincerely hope somebody else, or at least the staff themselves, consider this review and understand what they have been doing wrong for the students. Please stop abusing the children and lying to parents about it. You have no reason or right to compete with our children! We do not pay you such amounts to traumatise them, you are supposed to enrich and nourish their skills and talents, not snip their wings off! I hope some change is brought into this horrid structure.

The school is excellent at teaching. The staff and teachers are amazing and care about the learning of their students. Thank you to all the teachers for their support and contribution for providing my daughter the ability to learn in a safe and educational environment. Especially her class teacher Ms. Neethu for your gracious efforts in teaching her and taking care of her.

Merryland school is a great school ,hard work teachers ..safe and strong education..I have 3 daughters inside and never regret.... Miss Shopa is wise and strong leader. thank you for all Merryland school staff ,we appreciate your efforts. Miss Mercy and miss Nada in grade one are example of the lovely wonderful teachers. all teachers of grade 11 and grade 6 thank you
