A locals pub that actually has a decent vibe! Decent place to watch the rugby with the best pint prices I've seen in a long time! Friendly enough folk during the day with cheap and cheerful pub grub.

Nice and comfortable environment. The quality of food served is not bad and the price is fair. We ordered fish and chips and chicken salad. Will go there again if visit the place in the future.

Great place! Great service! Stopped by on the way to the station. Genuinely friendly staff who are committed to what they do. I know that different people like different atmospheres, but for me I really enjoyed the lack of pretension, the genuineness (am I just saying the same thing twice?) and the enthusiasm. A very friendly place welcoming all. It really deserves to do well. Would definitely come back.

First time visiting here. Impression was very good, despite of Sunday night. Bar well equipped with various beer selection, so we had a few. Quiz bar game started, lots of topics around Guys, as it is Guy Fawkes Day apparentltly today, what was surprisingly fun. We didn't eat anything, as we were just passing by, but will need to try that next time.

Absolute dive... rude ignorant staff..
Bar staff have their friends around the bar who are also very rude.. disgusting behaviour. No manners at all. If I could I would give this a minus 5 stars. Wouldnt go bk if you paid me.
Shocking.
If I was the owner I would not employ such lazy ignorant employees.

Very close to the train station, plenty of option's on the spirits, every weekend they will show football or rugby games , very good vibes , local pub .

We reserved a table for 8 people for 7h30 and the bar staff knew that we had two teenagers with us. We asked them if it was ok and they said as long as they don't drink.

Instead of telling us about their no-under-18's rule after 8pm, they allow us to buy an expensive round of drinks, wait for us to take a few sips then send their security staff to chuck us out!

No refund - "we can give you plastic cups and you can sit outside" in the cold!

Bloody rude about it too - there was just no talking to these thugs!

We went to The Bull who politely confirmed that it was ok to have teenagers on their premises. So if it's not the law, that we're all expected to know, why did Market Inn treat us like trouble makers?
