Decent pub for a chill night out, large variety of tap beers and drinks. The pub was clean and very beautiful inside! Food was ok but could do better. The pizza and steak were dry. There was more batter then fish on the fish and chips. Even some chips were undercooked. The Mac and cheese felt microwaved. Customer service was ok, the waiter was getting impatient when taking first orders. Overall a nice for drinks but not for food…

Sunday Roast in North London????????????

Sunday is a family day and Eating Sunday Roast should be the best for family gathering. @thecockinncockfosters is located just next to Trent Park. My family is living in North London and so we decided to have a Sunday gathering there.

4 of us ordered 2 sets of Roast Duo of Beef and each with 4 sides to share. Duo beef included boneless beef ribs and 21 day-aged sirloin. The beef was tender and juicy. It came with good amount of roasted potatoes and fresh sautéed vegetables. Altogether with the sides, we were so full ????u200d????????u200d????????u200d????

Price is reasonable with nice atmosphere. Also, it’s dog friendly. Defo a best place for friends or family catchup ????

Was on my Sunday walk this week and walked past this pub for the first time, and can definitely say I was not disappointed! The food was lovely, the atmosphere was 10/10, the only thing that topped it was the service! Service was great, we were served by Georgina who was amazing and so attentive! We will definitely be coming back!

So parking can be a nightmare here especially on beautiful sunny days as they have a large drinks garden.
You walk in and everything looks clean and beautiful, lovely high chairs and normal tables and chairs also. Friendly staff and a large drinks selection.
Food menu wasn't too bad and my colleague had some allergies so made sure they knew and was told we should eat the a different dish which came out perfectly. Ordered one of my favourite drinks but the ginger ale was warm and lucky they showed me 1st otherwise it would of been a waste of a drink and down to a 3 star.
When the food came, they both smelt amazing and looked great. The sea food linguine was excellent and we had no complaints. But my dish (chicken & bacon brie) which looks so good but was a little disappointing, the crust was just too thick and didn't see any bacon inside and wasn't creamy inside. The mash was smooth and tasty and the long stem Brockley was done perfectly with a lovely bite.

We had a party of 13 adults and 1 child for dinner last night. All of us had a most delightful time from 7pm to 10pm and everyone was very happy with their food and drinks. We received a lot of attention from the Waitress who was friendly and did a wonderful job. Some of us have already decided to have Lunch there next week.

Lovely pub with a very nice outdoor space. Our server Megan was very friendly and gave us great service, bringing our drinks out quickly. Will definitely be back, especially if Megan is working!

Lovely place. Lovely food. We were served by a delightful young lady by the name of Leah. Very pleasant, attentive, informative and most of all smiling. She made our visit very enjoyable.

A delicious Sunday roast lunch has become a regular family day out. Easily one of the best pub roasts out there, delicious and big portions. Great service by a friendly and welcoming team. Also dogs are welcome in the front bar section, where you can still enjoy the same food as the restaurant, which is another great touch.
