A fantastic structure and just opposite the Bertie pub. Our walk took us to the Coal mining experience and onto Llyncelyn and returning off Getthin Terrace along Hafod Walk, past the waterfall and back to Eriw Bridge and into the Bertie for refreshments. We walked through Barry Sidings and over Gelliwion Woodland and came down through Maesycoed to the train station. The views over Pontypridd, Bristol Channel, Gilfach Goch wind farm and Penycoedcae were outstanding.
