The Morafiq City Check in is a great facility with polite staff. There is plenty of space and well managed.
The check in facility is open 24 hours and they accept the check in baggage for your flights 24 hours in advance, upto five hours. In exceptional cases they accept the checked in baggage upto four hours prior to the flight departure timings however it's a risk in case they don't accept it.
Kindly ensure that there are no power banks or batteries packed in your checked in baggage else you have to remove it.

City check-in facility now re launched in Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal 1 with ample car parking facility. Passengers can check Abu Dhabi cruise terminal in google map and find the direction. At present Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Wizz Air and Egypt Air passengers can use the Terminal. Contact number. 025833345 or 800-morafiq.

Newly opened Abu Dhabi International Airport Check-in counter managed by Morafiq. Situated inside Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal 1, next to Marsa Mina.

Currently providing service for only Etihad Airways. Drop your baggage and obtain boarding pass from 24 hours to 4 hours of your departure time, so that you can skip the queues and other hassles at the airport.

Service is chargeable and is not free

Per Passenger charges:

Adult (and children over 12 years): 45 AED
Child (2 years to 12 years): 25 AED
Infant (less than 2 years): 15 AED

Family charges:

Family of 4 members: 120 AED
Additional member charge: 35 AED per passenger

Since the facility was still new, only few counters were in operation (only 2 counters at the time of my visit, however with no other customer in front).

No wrapping facility was available at the time.

This is the city check in facility in city center. Very convenient service.
You can drop ur bags up to 24 hrs of your flight time, get ur boarding pass and go directly to the passports check at the airport..
Excellent service. Replaced the long closed city terminal near abudhabi mall.
location is In Mina area .
Open 24 hrs.
Currently serving 4 airlines, ettihad,wizz air,air Arabia and Egypt air.
With nominal service fees of around 35 Dh.

It is a good option to get around the stuffed airport queues. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the advertisement is incorrect in several points. 2500 Etihad Guest miles will be granted for this check-in only if you fly Etihad, although three other airlines (Wizz, Egypt Air, Air Arabia) are also checked-in; regardless of the same payment and an Etihad Guest membership status. Even if you have paid for Wizz Airport check-in at the booking, at this counter the online check-in will be requested and it will function only as a bag-drop.

I am as a guest I have the worst experience.
During the pandemic between 2019 and 2022 I couldn't fly to any destination. I got more than 2800 in my travel bank... and the etihad they promised that during the pandemic they will be understanding to the usage of my travel bank and miles... however they took my money they said that they got expired !!!. I requested an Asistance and understanding for my situation buy they never helped.
As the airlines refuse the usage of my miles to do a class upgrade and they want me to take a bid. If the seat request 39k miles they will make me take the 120k and more to do an upgrade.
I have a very bad experience with evidence.
I don't want to fly anymore on etihad.

Saving your time at the airport.
Fees are acceptable AED 34 per adult
