This place is awkward to find - just turn right immediately after the bridge on the way out of Lanark and you will find a very small car park. The steps to the walk are then in front of you.

It is quite steep, but our dog loved it, and it's lovely and peaceful once you get up there.

Walked from Cartland Bridge to Cleghorm Bridge about 9km there and back. A little soft underfoot on the lower parts of the walk. Other than that a very enjoyable walk. A clear path with some fantastic trail markers made by local Lanark school kids.

Beautiful spot - gorgeous run from Cleghorn Bridge to Cartland Bridge. Path is narrow in places - prob a bit intimidating for the less confident.

Stunningly beautiful with lots of interesting walks for kids, dogs and adults alike. Next stop - The Falls of Clyde!!
