Oh I think I found my new favourite place!!

Plenty of parking, easy to access for wheelchair/rollator users with fully accessible toilets.
Food outstanding and beautifully presented. Staff really chill and friendly. Varied menu from set menu to al a carte. Spotless inside with nice decor. You can ask to sit in "the carriage " which are booth seats for up to 4 in the train carriage which is part of the restaurant. For those into trains Google the history!

I mentioned 2 specific disabilities on the booking and they catered beautifully. Will definitely be back.
Starter complimentary bread with the sun-dried tomatoe butter was outstanding and unexpected on warm chunky bread.
Recommend booking essential. Deposit required for 6 or more.

Enjoyed a 'nice' meal with friendly service - been some time since our last visit.

With a little polish, could be so much better. The cooking lacks flair and things like chips were a little greasy. Battered cod had too much thick & heavy batter although the fish inside was OK. My venison steak was nice but lacked seasoning and flavour. The truffle promised in the gratin was very muted. Lemon tart should be singing with bright lemon but again was bland.

A good venue for a family meal or with children. comfortable and friendly.

Beautiful interior, friendly, helpful, efficient staff and most of our party of 17 people thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was plentiful. However, my pork steaks were a little dry and the chips didn't appear to be home-made - some nice tripple cooked or rustic would have been better. Vegetables were perfect and plenty of them. Will definitely go again but choose differently.

Absolutely beautiful meal for my partners birthday. Service was fantastic and food was amazing. Staff were very accommodating as we have a large double pram for our 16 week old twins. We will be back to try that Sunday roast you were raving about :)

Beautiful food and excellent quality, reasonably priced and fantastic service.
Very pleasant and attentive staff.
Highly recommend a visit! Can't wait to come back already!

Joined a party of 17 for my nephews 30th birthday...went for the two course Sunday lunch...
Meat was cooked to perfection , Yorkshire puds to admire and loads of veg.
Staff were professional , polite and up for a laugh .....
Highly recommend this place 10 out of 10.

Beautiful food and had a great time. Highly recommend the sitting in the train carriage!

Staff was very helpful and the food was the highlight of the evening. Everyone enjoyed and had a fab time. Thanks!

Lovely food and excellent, attentive service. We arrived a bit early so ordered in the waiting/bar area and were taken to our table when the first course was ready. Everything was well cooked and very tasty.
