Bad experience - The shopkeeper was rude and not helpfully ( He just wanted us out of store).And this happened twice which is the main reason I post here. Unacceptable behavior!!!.

Great food, friendly staff, lots fo beers, charming atmosphere. What more do you need? Definitely book for a weekend, or drop in for lunch like we did from our canal boat. Watch out while crossing the busy road, but it's worth it. Loved the menu option of a "coffee + small serve of dessert" deal. Perfect when you can't fit in a full size dessert, but you must know what it tastes like!

Lovely, welcoming pub with open fire. Dog friendly which is rare now days. But fantastic to see. Lovely outside seating area. Plenty of parking. Food was very well presented though a little on the small side which was the only down side I found. Staff/owners was all very pleasant. I defiantly would visit again

Always a fantastic place to eat.

- Their food menu is always fantastic, varied and reasonably-priced
- The drink menu also has loads of variety, including a great gin selection and many fine beers in draft, too
- The food is always consistently great and is made using high quality ingredients
- I recently really enjoyed the spicy beef salad and the lamb is exquisite, also
- You can't go wrong with where you sit - the ambience is fantastic at all times of the year
- The staff are brilliant. They really care, are knowledgeable and attentive. In fact the team just keeps getting better and better

I'd highly recommend visiting.

Absolutely fantastic pub, quality food (non chain feeling) and very friendly service. Had the burger, Katsu curry and waffles - all amazing. Will be back!!

What a lovely place this pub was. It's in the sticks with plenty of parking. Cosy inside. food. Full covers for a Thursday night and a lovely atmosphere. ????????????

Wow !!! What a stunning place this is beautiful food great surroundings, with an A LA CARTE menu, stretches out downstairs to more seating dinning area's stunning views inside and out, very popular with the older age range from 30s an older , lovely relaxed atmosphere here, but also popular with food and drinks , plenty of room to dine in and to relax if yr going there just to meet socially for drinks, or on a special occasion, lovely seating outside as well, situated towards the rear gardens , lovely A LA CARTE menu too! A lovely place to come and enjoy any evening, special occasion, sunday lunch, party, friends gathering, or out to lunch the CrabTree caters for it all beautiful inside and out, a must visit place where you will throughly enjoy the cosy ambience and relaxed atmosphere and superb food.

Lovely food but you do pay quite a bit for it!! Good service too and nice decorations, would go again! Had an issue with the scallops but they sorted it out nicely.
