Huge thanks to all the wonderful staff on ward 23 for helping us through the hardest days of our lives, and guiding us through my wonderful mum's end of life care. The care they gave her, and us her family, was so lovely. Each and every one were so caring and understanding, special thanks to Becky ❤ Mum would have been so grateful.

Cannot thank or praise everyone who contributed to the care of my daughter during her pregnancy, labour and birth at Barnsley Hospital. After having an horrendous experience of birth at Pinderfields two years ago the midwives, Doctors and Nurses at Barnsley were fantastic. Once again thanks to you all

Just been to urology investigation unit having had blood in urine. Fantastic staff and great service. Need operation so sent on way but hospital phoned within 2 hours and date fixed. Could not have got better service if i had paid private so very grateful to all concerned.

I always get help when I needet, no problem. but yea,one minus is kids area absolutely dirty, all toys with a lots of germs,my child wait soks always changing colour in black,thats big unhappiness, and yea 2 h. Waiting for a doctor to check, but yea understand that,standart Routine. be ready for that. But still I thing Barnsley Hospital is very helpfull, they really working hard to help you. Thank you.

Stayed in Barnsley for 2 weeks had twin babies, all the staff Doctors nurses, cleaners were soo good and helpful. Excellent care services provided. Thank you Barnsley hospital staff.

The service provided by all the staff at BDGH was absolutely brilliant. The initial paramedic, the ambulance staff, the A & E team and every other person that helped to support my mother who was very ill following a stroke.
The service provided was world class

Lack of communication between the hospital ward and social worker. My mother-in-law has dementia and had to spend time on ward 19 with Covid, there's a lack of communication to my husband about her discharge. Everyone blames each other while she is stuck there with a shambolic discharge plan. The social worker is useless, we have spent time off work preparing for her discharge only to be told it wasn't happening because of the lack of communication. It's apparent that there's little or no thought to the patient or the family. Perhaps next time the vets would be a better place as pets are treat better than human beings.
