I would like to thank the team at Desmond McGuires especially James who helped me arrange my mother in laws funeral recently. This was made more complicated as I live in Dubai and I had no idea where to start.

James was fantastic , ever so helpful and guided me through everything that was required and was always quick to respond to me at any time of the day or night.

On the day of the funeral Desmond and his team was there to help keep us right on all protocols etc and it’s was lovely service and very professional.

Thank you very much for making all the necessary arrangements and allowing us to grieve and not worry about the proceedings

Desmond and his team went beyond my expectations.They made what was a heart breaking event, seamlesss and also given the current situation with restrictions they were still able to ensure that our mum's wishes were honoured. Extremely professional and our family were put at ease from the moment contact was made. A huge thank you to the full team.

Desmond Maguire was recommended by a friend and I couldn't have been happier with the service I received.
From the first contact with Claire in the office the service was very personal , reassuring and supportive.
When mum was collected it was a really nice touch that she was taken from the house in a coffin and not a body bag. The gentlemen who collected her were immaculately turned out and a lovely mix of respectful and friendly.
Throughout I felt very supported by all the staff, particularly Des, Claire and Anthony who patiently answered all my many questions and phone calls.
I would thoroughly recommend using Desmond Maguire. The personal service you receive from a family undertaker makes such a difference in helping you get through this difficult time

Hi

We just wanted to say a huge thanks to Des, Mario and the team who took such good care of my Gran Margaret's funeral yesterday. Everyone was very professional, very courteous and extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble. From the quality of the cars and their presentation to the way that staff were turned out, everything was really excellent. We really appreciated some of the small touches, like Des tipping his hat to my Gran when we were leaving the funeral home and arriving at the Crematorium.

Huge thanks also to Des for stepping in to take the service too. It struck just the right balance and would have been just what Gran would have wanted. It captured something of her spirit & personality and helped folks get a better sense of the kind of lady she was.

Finally, a special mention to Audrey from me personally. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She empathised, listened, was very quick to respond and seemed to take a genuine interest in us / my Gran. A huge credit to you and the company.

My mum passed away suddenly and the staff here looked after her within an hour or so of my calling. She was taken from her house in a coffin which was a very dignified way to make her final exit. Desmond personally attended. The care from Audrey and the sensitivity coupled with the professional dignity we received was exceptional. Can’t recommend or thank them enough

All staff were very caring, supportive and thoroughly professional and helped us through a difficult time.
