I stayed in Ayr this week for work and I booked in here for one night.

The hotel reception and restaurant staff were very welcoming & greeted by a nice smile. Very professional.

The rooms I stayed in were nice and spacious albeit a bit old fashioned but clean and spacious. The towel robes are lovely and heavy quality.

The breakfast was very good all freshly prepared.

The hotel and grounds are kept very well. Lovely landscaping !

I really enjoyed my stay albeit was a short one.

Stayed for 2 nights for my birthday.
Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
Food was really nice and breakfast choice was brilliant.
Room on last night was really warm, even though we had window open I had a poor sleep. But wouldn't stop us going back again.

Have stayed here numerous time but the last few time have been very poor! Courtyard rooms are now very basic no curtains just blind that didn’t work , was a two night stay bed wast made towel still where I left it but they did fix the blind . Limited menu now ! Food not worthy of the price Staff stood about speaking to each other in polish very rude !! This is a real pity as I used to look forward to staying here . Barman was very pleasant.

A very nice place to stay. Staff were all helpful and friendly. We had a 2 night wedding stay. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

We stayed one night here and it was nice, had a great dinner. Definitely worth staying here if you are looking for a place in this area.

Great location as right next to Ayr Racecourse. Helpful friendly staff and superb breakfast in the morning.

A really nice hotel. Large and comfortable rooms, lovely breakfasts, excellent restaurant, friendly and efficient staff.

They let themselves down a bit on one night when they had a wedding at the hotel - I tried ordering a meal and a pint at the bar, and I don't know whether it was the fact that they were so busy or that the staff that night just weren't up to it, but trying to place, pay for and receive a simple order turned into an absolute farce! Luckily this was a one-off, and the rest of my week here was great.

Attending a wedding, we decided to stay the night food was faultless , staff lovely and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had
