We stayed in The Nursery and it was just lovely. Big, and airy but cosy and comfortable too. Very well equipped and the bed and bedding was luxurious. Stunning surroundings and just a short walk to Loch Awe, such a beautiful part of Scotland. Very dog friendly (our labrador loved the attention and treats!) and the locals we met were all very friendly. We didn't use the restaurant but the menu looked good and the bar prices were very reasonable and the bar was well stocked. Definitely recommend this lovely, historical house for a holiday especially if you like to fish. Sarah and Jon seem to have thought of everything you could need from a self catering holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

massive shout out to jon,sarah and all the locals, our 5th time of staying here, and always made to feel like we have come home. stayed in the summer wing and cannot fault it, stunning veiws and so many places to visit couldnt name them all, but would say absolutly pay a visit to joanne and her birds of prey, lovely host lets you hold,feed and fly the birds, including a golden eagle !!! The kids and i say that loosly as they are around 25 went swimming in the Loch, went up ben nevis and on a boat to see the seals, enjoyed the bar, pool games and generally chilling with the locals, thanks to all for a great stay again and will definatly be back.

Charming old building, self catering rooms, they have absolutely everything you need. Cooker, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, pots, crockery, cutlery, fridge etc. Plenty hot water, bath & shower, heating, tv.
Owners Sarah & John fantastic, bar staff great, very reasonably priced, good atmosphere in bar, all friendly. Most definitely be going back.

Lovely food and welcoming host and chef.
We stumbled upon this place by chance and popped into see what was on offer.
Met some lovely locals and was surprised by the quality of their food, which was very tasty indeed, and great value.
Dine in, but understand that take away is also on offer.
Would recommend if in the area.

Ardbrecknish House is located in a sparsely populated part of the Scottish Highlands with a fantastic view of Loch Awe. The accommodations were perfect for our large group. The pub and restaurant were extremely pleasant with great food, drink, and company. I highly recommend Ardbrecknish House to anyone wanting to experience true Scottish Highland hospitality.

Absolutely loved the peace and tranquility during the middle of September at Ardbrecknish House, lovely hosts who showed us around our ground floor flat in the tower. A nice walk to the shores of Loch Awe with stunning views and surrounding countryside
