Staff was very friendly and helpful but was run off their feet. Not enough staff to cope with all the customers. The ice machine was empty and the cherry flavour was empty in all you can drink machine and staff could not deal with it as too busy dealing with customers and cleaning tables. So if you are doing promotions more staff on shift would be better for customer and staff experience. The food was cooked nicely. Overall well worth going and good value for money.

The whole food area was dirty, the food looked liked it had been standing around for ages, absolutely no care had been taken and no cleaning had been carried out. You could not blame being in a rush for the state of the place as it was quiet and no one in front of us and we had to wait for someone to come out of the kitchen to cut the meat and he was scruffy and dirty. Needs more care to be taken, I wont be returning.

£5 carvery, great offer. Very busy as expected but staff coped well. No delay or queue for carvery. Good meal. Staff helpful and friendly. Enjoyable lunch

Appalling service from Amy. We hasn’t even finished our food or drinks and she told us to hurry up as they needed the table. Pushed the bill in our face. Didn’t bother asking if we would like desert. Stood watching us the whole time.
Absolutely disgraceful. Won’t be back again! Metro centre staff are lovely.

Customer service was absolutely awful. Especially Amy.
Never felt so uncomfortable and rushed. Didn’t even get to finish our drinks before she came over and said you need to hurry up as we need your table.
Didn’t even offer desserts.
All of the time time we were watched and felt so uncomfortable. Will NEVER Be returning to Darlington ever!!!

It was the worst Sunday dinner I had in a long time .Potatoes were waterer not much veg the gravy was tastless in fact it all tasted bland .the one at Hartlepool is lovely. (and not enough meat also the pigs in blankets were burnt ) will never come back again

We had issues with roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and custard being tepid, nowhere near hot enough. Checking if everything is OK during the meal and not after could have given an opportunity to replace. However this review is worthy of 4 stars because Becci was so pleasant and handled it so well

Bit disappointing as requested a quiet table due to friend having ASD... Family with a young child followed us round to the quiet corner..
No longer a quiet corner..
Vegetable selection limited... No cabbage. No parsnips. No cauliflower. No turnip. For a birthday treat it was quite a let down. Staff were friendly as usual. Dessert (crumble) was way too hot... So hot friend's ice cream melted instantly. Felt quite an expensive lunch... £37 for 2 carvery lunches... 2 drinks and 2 crumbles..£10 off still made it costly...
