The sculpture exhibits round pristine white pearls inside an open oyster with the ship's sail cloth standing high representing a ship.
The pearls light up in the night illuminating the area and are a beautiful sight to the eyes.
Even during the day time, the white colour of the sculpture gives a calming effect.
The walk along the breakwater from the pearl monument upto the nearby mosque is quite serene in early morning and evening.
There are few interesting places nearby pearl monument such as the Founder's memorial, the Dhow monument just across, the big fountain square, the heritage village, marina mall and UAE flag monument.
The pearl monument is in the open without any shade around and the scorching sun may be unbearable. In view of this, it is recommended to visit this place early morning or in the evening which would make your visit pleasant.
A quite, calm and serene place where you can find some peace of mind.
