Spent an hour or so at this pub. Nice place. Very old. Very helpful, friendly staff. Food looked good. We saw two Morris dancing groups demonstrating, Hurst and Bracknell. Car park space limited.

Great staff. Made to feel welcomed. Ran out of fish and chips so only 4 stars but the food we did eat was excellent as usual.

What a gorgeous setting for a pub! It was a cold and frosty day and the place looks so pretty. They have decorated really well for Christmas and the vibe was relaxed and friendly. Staff are so nice and helpful.
Food was great, if a tad pricey in places. We were a bit chilly in our section, not freezing, but certainly wouldn't put me off returning.

Lovely lunch in the garden. Really good pub food with imaginative vegetarian/vegan choice. Very welcoming and accommodating staff.

How refreshing to find a pub that actually does what it’s supposed to. Good pub food, fair prices and excellent service in traditional historic surroundings. Tonight’s meal was fab, we will return soon. Thank you

Really cosy olde pub. Can feel the history. Nice outdoor seating.
Didn't eat but good beer selection and friendly staff :)

Fantastic lunch at the Castle Inn. We kicked off with the pork burnt ends, very nice start! For mains, I had the whole seabass which was truly one of the best seabass I have ever had. Two others had the burgers which was also delicious. My daughter had the ribs which were falling off the bone, very good all round again!!!!

Great food... Friendly service. Nice little slightly out of the way pub with a good quality menu and really friendly staff
