We chartered the birdswood canal boat for about 35 of our friends and family. It was a brilliant way to see the canal and local wildlife. The team on the boat were very friendly and welcoming, and had lots of local knowledge. Would highly recommend!

What wonderful walks we go on in Derbyshire photo 1 is cromford canal at the junction with the steep walk up to the black rocks to go. Photo 2 is taken on the wonderful monsal trail with tunnels to boot and lovely views over monsal dale etc

It will be fabulous to be able to take our boat from the river Trent all the way to Cromford, the seat of the industrial revolution.

Thank you for working to restore this amazing canal. A length of the canal is in a World Heritage Site and the remainder runs through an area with important industrial heritage. Well worth a visit.
