As an out of area patient having surgery at the Royal Gwent, I am overwhelmed by the cleanliness of the hospital, including the public toilets.

The staff are so kind and professional. There is no comparison between the POW Bridgend and the Royal Gwent. The Gwent is far superior and I feel much safer. Well done Royal Gwent.

Went here with my daughter today. We seen the nurse who was lovely. We then went through to the children bit and a women was shouting her mouth off at said I been watching her. My daughter is autistic so is my son. We walk out. Without seeing doctor ????

I was in having knee replacement and was in for five days. The staff were great but the same cannot be said for the food. I wouldn't even give it one star. The toast was stone cold and rubbery and the mashed potato was disgusting. I ate hardly anything and dropped a couple of pounds in weight. The egg mayonnaise sandwich was dry and have no idea how that happened. I think the hospital is well past its best.

I am under the audiology department at RGH and cannot fault the staff at all. They are all so lovely and they take their time to ensure you are comfortable and all is well before leaving the clinic. I saw 2 different audiologists and both times the service was excellent. If you have any issues at all, give them a ring or text and it gets sorted quickly. Also very handy that they set up so you can order batteries and hearing aid tubes on the Aneuran Bevan website as well. 10/10, cannot fault it.

I have just visited the Minor Injuries Unit this morning with my husband to have treatment for his dislocated toes. Maxine and Jan were amazing and took a lot of trouble to put the dislocations right which involved two manipulations and two X-rays. Their caring attitude and professionalism were very impressive and I would like to thank them for caring for my husband thoughtfully throughout a painful procedure.

Brought my 91 year old Dad into Minors A & E on Saturday the 25th February
He had fallen. The care we received was amazing everyone was so caring and really brilliant at looking after him
He’s broken his elbow so had arm plastered.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff in the Minor Injuries Unit. 4 hour wait for an x-ray and consultation wasn't great but it had a nice doorbell.

The Minor Injuries unit team were great and fast! 2hrs from entering to leaving

All in the Fracture Clinic were equally as efficient and accommodating!
