We had an absolutely wonderful birthday dinner at the restaurant. The evening started with the sunset and ended with a wonderful view of the city lights. The restaurant's atmosphere, service, food and music were all top level. The child's visit was also very well considered. We will definitely visit again.

Great View's, great service and the food was great. I was not sure about the steak in Abu Dhabi as I am from Alberta. No complaints. Medium rare sirloin and it was up to standard. My only suggestion would be to increase the vegetable options on the menu, very limited.

Revisited the restaurant tonight. Not great. Food and atmosphere were wonderful...service was abysmal, and terribly slow. Food orders came out and they did not place one meal correctly at the table. They forgot a couple of food items and the fries came out uncooked. The steak and seafood were amazing. Then for dessert they knew they had screwed up so brought out a free cheesecake with the ordered deserts, just no cutlery to eat it with....all the while we were waiting for our coffee order which took over 20 minutes for an Americano. The latte never showed up until asked for. In a service rich culture of Abu Dhabi this was way below par. The manager did come over and apologize. Luckily the company was awesome and the views unbeatable. Won't be back anytime soon.

Best service in Abu Dhabi. Alam made our evening. Prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable about meal suggestions.

Meal presentation was enjoyable. Kids or anyone who's a kid at heart will enjoy. Waitstaff are very professional and engaging, the meals were good, and as we were finishing up the meal, we were treated with mesmerizing views of the gulf.

The ambiance was very calming and nice. The food was okay if your look at the price. I think they could have reduced that prices just to show a projection on your table. So it was very much over priced. This is definitely a fun experience to have with kids but the sad thing is below 6 are not allowed. I feel this is only for kids. As an adult I found 10000 things they could change and upgrade or modify.
Coming back to the food even though we chose our menu but noone asked us what kind of cook on our steak do we want and was just served medium rare. If I pay such an amount I expect our food to be of our choice. The excuse given was since the steak is thin it was cooked to medium rare. Well no we are not someone who like to eat bloody steaks please. Still we did not want to create a fuss so ignore this major flaw.
While booking I thought that the show have something to do with the menu that's the reason why they are so insistent on paying in advance and choosing a menu. I don't think it did.

The service on the other hand from the servers was good except the lady who came and said that the steak was cooked medium rare because it was thin otherwise it will dry. Which was not acceptable at all . We should have been asked about it very disappointing thing to happen. Otherwise she was kind and very good.
So for me it was a below average experience.

Rays Grill is in a lovely location with great views however we ordered steaks and they unfortunately came extremely wrongly cooked, twice. In the end we had to choose a different steak from the menu and hope for the best. The final meal was delicious... and the polenta chips were to die for! However for a speciality steak restaurant we feel that the main thing that is done well is to cook a steak to perfection... so we were slightly disappointed that we had to complain and that it had to go back twice.

Staff and views were awesome.

Delicious steaks and dessert. I was a tour guide with a group of tourists.

This restaurant does not admit customers with shorts and slippers.

The view of city from 63rd floor is breathtaking. But the windows were full of dust so we were not able to see well or take good pictures.

They have only one restroom for male and one for female.

The service was a little bit slow.
