Excellent friendly service. Airport drop off and collection went smoothly. The drivers were very polite and helpful.
I had text communication with, which also made things so easy.
Highly recommend. Will definitely be using these guys in the future :)

We've been working with Hammersleys Taxi's since last year and the team have been phenomenal. Jason and Ali both go above and beyond for us and always have great communication for organising services. I'd highly recommend them for being reliable, great value and exceptional communication - especially organising more complex trips.

I am really disappointed with the service I received from Hammersleys.
I booked a taxi a week in advance on the app to take me to the airport. The app wouldn't allow me to add the correct time so I called Jason and he said to send him a text and he would update it. However, days went by and I hadn't seen an update so I had to chase him to do it. After he confirmed he changed the time the day before I was due to fly he text me to ask if he could change the time of my pick up to earlier. I replied and said I wanted to be picked up at the time I originally specified and he confirmed. Then on the morning of my pick up he text to say he was going to be 15 mins late...which then resulted in being 30 mins late. I needed to be at the airport for 6am and he wouldn't be coming to collect me until 6am now. I was really really stressed as I had to be at the airport at a specific time and now I was going to be almost 30 mins late. I frantically called around other taxi firms and managed to get a taxi last minute but I was still late. Jason did apologise over text however I just don't feel the service wasn't good enough. I then had to chase him to confirm a refund. Booking a taxi should be a case of booking the time you want, then turning up at that time and it being a stress free situation. This was the opposite. Such a shame as I'm all for supporting local businesses and finding a good taxi firm but I won't be trying to use Hammersleys again.

*Update: Thanks for your response Jason. Just to confirm, you didn't text me to explain why you wanted to pick me up 15 minutes early on the day. Had you explained it was due to over booking or potentially running late for my collection I maybe would have accepted the offer. Equally, when you book a taxi for a specific time there's a reason. I didn't really fancy waiting at the airport for longer than I needed to or setting my alarm even earlier that morning so that is why "I point blank refused". If you feel over stretched or that you can't meet customer demands then I would suggest maybe not taking on these bookings until you are sure you can deliver. When you text me to say you had arrived back in Lingfield the morning of my collection I was already on my way in Copthorne with the other taxi firm so I did arrive sooner than if I had waited for you.

6 of us stuck at the train station late night after the races, no trains. 15 minutes to send a people carrier, reasonable rates, clean comfortable ride, friendly driver. Excellent service!

I booked a wheelchair taxi to take my dad to a hospital appointment. The driver arrived early. He was very caring and paid great attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this company. Fantastic service.

Driver received call when driving. Picked up phone and held in lap looking at screen and trying to answer then raised to ear. Illegal and dangerous.

Absolute rip off, got a taxi with a firm in East Grinstead somewhere that charged me £24. I got picked up from Hammersleys and brought back to my house and was charged £44!! Almost double the price. Absolute con merchants do NOT USE!

Booked a cab around 11pm on a bank holiday monday. They where the first company around to answer the phone and they came quick. Price was also good. Would recommend.
