Sangeeta is a south Indian speciality restaurant situated next to NMC hospital and exactly opposite Gold Souk in Abu Dhabi. The seating is like old Town (not very modern). Menu is purely south Indian breakfast and lunch/dinner and not very expensive. The service is pretty quick for a fairly crowded place. Quality and Taste of food is not very good... average. Onion Rava dosa was very dry. Please don't try any recommendations like wheat carrot Dosa.. It's not good at all. Overall nice place for a quick bite and cheaper on the wallet.

Nice South Indian food. Variety of dosas, upma, they have nice North Indian Thali with vegetables and Naan. Everything here is good.
It's clean restaurant but gets rushy during weekends. But waiting moves fast.
Breakfast is nice and hot food served.
Helpful staff. Fast service.
Must try - Paneer 65 , Dosa, Rosam.
Special Sweets for Diwali available.

This is a great place to have fresh south Indian vegetarian breakfast. I'm not a big fan of breakfast but since I came to Abu Dhabi I would always visit Sangeetha for some dosai and upma which is available for breakfast. I would wake to this particular branch. The food is fantastic as always. Good value for money. The masala tea should have more ginger in it. The place is clean but please go easy on the chemicals you use. Sometimes you can taste the soap on the cups and other utensils. And please reduce your air freshener. The restaurant doesn't have windows you can open, not especially with the outside temperature, so please go easy on your air freshener, the place is cramped downstairs and with the air freshener being so strong, you feel like it's on your food too. You're literally killing your patrons while they eat with all the chemicals you use inside. I love your food and there are some items that aren't the same when delivered so it is always nice to come to the restaurant but with the 2 occasions I came and I felt sick the next day because of the air freshener and other chemicals they use on the tables, I will need to think twice before coming back here :(((. There is nothing wrong with hygiene but please don't overdo it using chemicals. Better yet start opting for natural products that are more aligned with your vegetarian restaurant.

If you're someone whose chemicals have been very much part of your life since the pandemic and cannot tell the difference whether it's in the air, on your skin or on your food, then this restaurant is definitely worth a try.

Sangeetha is never a dissapointment, consistent quality and reasonable prices and good food always. Caters to the taste buds of all age groups. Keep up the quality????

One of the best vegetarian South Indian restaurants in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. They have the best south Indian dosa, ghee roast, masala dosa, vada etc. Their sides are always very tasty. Prices are average but not cheap. You have to dine in for the best yummy delicious hot food. Filter coffee is also available there. Nice service.
Recommended if you really miss south Indian food. Especially Dosa.
