In my experience this is the best college in and around Glasgow, great facilities and opportunities, my course (graphic design) was extremely well led and set me up with lots of real life experience as well as taught knowledge. I would very much recommend this course and the college as a whole.

Don't go there if you are a mature student. You will be treated like a child. Most of the students that go there are school leavers.

Wouldn’t even give this college 1 star. Do not go here to study hnc childhood practice. The college lecture discriminations against you if you have learning difficulties. You get told a month before you finish that you can’t get another visit from the college lecture even though you get one visit and everyone else gets 2 or 3 visits. The complaint procedures is non existent as it’s just your word against the lectures. The don’t let you complain yet say they have to complaints that’s how. Only 2 girls failed the hnc and both had learning difficulties out the whole class. The college lecture is out her dept she changes deadlines last minute and tell one student one thing another student another thing. She discriminates against people with mental health problems too as she tells you to just get on with it.

There are many things that I could say about adult education programs at the West College Scotland. And sure, I could have given less than five stars - three, four or two perhaps depending on the aspect of my experience that I'm focusing on. However, my personal, subjective memories of West College Scotland are so overwhelmingly positive that I simply do not want to dwell on the negatives.

There is one thing that never ceases to amaze me as a foreigner in Scotland. I admire the patience, tolerance, sense of tact and unconditional positive regard that people around me and myself keep receiving from our educators. It can be frustrating at times to do things for the first time, to try and fail and not give up. And it can probably very trying for the teachers to explain the same thing over and over again or demonstrate primitive things to people who have never attempted them. And each and every one of us has some ego packed in the chest that we carry around wherever we go, whatever we do.

To impart knowledge without adding to one's emotional baggage is perhaps one of the hardest things in the world. I'm not going to list the names for the fear of leaving someone out. The teachers and the admin staff, I want to thank you all - I left the college a better person than I was before meeting you guys.

Allocated right in the centre of Greenock the college is easy accessible. With a Human support and great equipment the students have excellent experience. Friendly staff and modern facilities are more than just a motive to complete successful your studies.
