Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Mosque in Al Ain will be one of the most iconic and prominent architectural monuments of Islamic architecture not only in Al Ain city, but all of the UAE. With its unique symbolic significant to the culture and heritage of the UAE.
The Mosque with its largest dome that is ornamented with the Quran calligraphy verses and covers the entire main prayer hall of the mosque. It consists of Main Haram Building, 4 Minarets, Arcades, Ablution building, service block, and hard and soft landscaping areas for car parks.

The dome lends this Mosque its uniqueness. The Mosque sits low and the sheer enormity is only evident as you enter the compound.

The chandelier and the show-piece that is hung from the dome center is an engineering marvel. Sitting there, absorbed into the magnanimity and the beauty of the arrangements, I couldn’t help but think how they would have hung it up.

We visited during Ramadhan. Ifthar isn’t provided, but you could bring provisions and have from the parking lot. Mosque was open only about 15 minutes before Magrib, and that too only the secondary prayer hall.

The main prayer area opens at 7.30pm in preparation for Tharaveh. We waited and were the first ones to be let it, hence had some moments to take good pictures.

Beautiful atmospheres.
1.And few archeological sites neat and clam.Great architecture works
2.Hats of to the construction for gave the beauty for this mosque.
3. Almost 6 to 8 gates entry are there
4. EID time come early for fajar and wait finish Eid and go late. Cos of too much crowd

Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Grand Mosque Construction of the mosque was awarded to Arabian Construction Company for AED 600 million.[9] It started in December 2013,[1] and was initially scheduled for completion in 2016.The built-up area of the mosque is meant to occupy an area of 15,684 m2 (168,820 sq ft), with the total area of the mosque being 256,680 m2 (2,762,900 sq ft).[14] With an indoor capacity of 6,433 worshippers, and outdoor capacity of 14,029, its total capacity would be over 20,000. It has 4 minarets which are meant to measure about 60 m (200 ft) high.[1] The 4 minarets, each measuring 60 m (200 ft) high, are inspired by the Great Mosque of Samarra. Additionally, there is an arcade which connects the various parts of the mosque and rims the yard with an area..

Beautiful iconic grand masjid of Alain. Beautiful islamic architecture.
Well maintained, neat & clean
Must visit place if you are visiting Alain.
Performed Isha prayers, experience was beyond explanation it was just mind-blowing.
Restrooms are sparkling clean.
Security was satisfactory and all areas were covered by security team.
Deserves 5 ????
