Will never park here again. My car reg was not recognised when I went to pay upon leaving. Spoke to someone through the intercom for some advice. They advised me to enter my details manually eg. Registration, time of arrival and departure. I said I wasn’t sure of the exact time I had arrived. The employee told me to just add a rough time as it didn’t matter. I did as instructed, paid and left. Two weeks later I got a fine for £60 for non payment.
I appealed and sent off a copy of the receipt. They sent another letter saying I still had to pay the £60 as I hadn’t quite paid for the whole generation I was there!! If their machines worked properly I wouldn’t have had to guess my arrival time. I feel very much like I have been conned. The employee I spoke to contributed to the issue. I even contacted the car park management team and they said they couldn’t do anything. So really won’t appreciate them responding to this review asking me to DM them to make themselves to appear concerned or in the least bit helpful. Avoid here at all cost. There are plenty more car parks to chose from.

Same as other reviews really. Sister parked here a while back. Paid cash. No receipt and had to pay £60 fine.
Fraudulent company as others have said but as she can't prove it she is £60 put of pocket.
Reviewed here before. They always respond in the same way as you can see but when she contacted them they still made her pay. I haven't been to town since. Carparks like this put people off shopping in Coventry.

***stop acting like you will help and then we contact you and you don't! Frauds.

Interesting to see these reviews. I was fined a few months ago for apparently not paying. I paid cash so couldn't prove it & ended up paying the £60 fine as couldn't face the stress of fighting it. I had contacted the carpark who looked into it but just believed UKPC & referred me back to them. They weren't interested when I pointed out the machine wasn't giving out receipts. I haven't been to this carpark or city centre since. My advice - avoid this carpark or if you do use it then pay by card

This car park has gone down hill since UKPC took over, you may think the price is cheap but they will sting you in other ways - wardens patrol the car park purposely to find reasons to fine you. £100 is the fine "discounted" to £60 if paid in 14 days. So save yourself the headache and park somewhere else. Hopefully when Coventry City council buy back lower precinct, they take back the car park too as currently this sham carpark that is making our city a not so nice place to visit.

Be careful with that parking. I was there for 2 hours and when I wanted to get out the machine was asking me how long i parked . How I suppose to remember how long I have been there . I put 2h and I pay 2 pound right , after one week I got penalty. I have to pay 60 pound within 14 days or will be 100 pounds. They don't try to fix those problems , The first problem machine don't accept coins . 2 don't show how much I need to pay . And 3 problem I was waiting in the queue to get out . Later I have to pay 100 pound . I don't know how win this case with them . Any one have the same situation in that parking .

Be careful....I paid cash into the machine, and the machine out of work. I did contact their staff, and the guy marked down my registration no and said I can go. Finally I received their bill and ask me to pay £60. I tried to appeal, but they ask me to provide a copy of any evidence to support payment.

Have had to change review! Yes used paybyphone app which is good, however paid for 2 hours on app and left in queue 12 minutes late and now have a £100 Penalty Charge Notice!!! With payments on machine inside a grace period is applied in order to leave the carpark as it's not always straight forward (have to load car with family and have quews to exit). Never the less I have used here for years but on the back of this PNC I'll not use this car park for my business or pleasure again. Can't believe no grace period provided in such a busy car park, if you leave just over the paid time expect a PCN...... Guess the owners and operators don't want you to have a nice day after all :(
