RULES TO REMEMBER:
**Dress modestly.
**Men to wear trousers or a kandora so your knees are covered.
**Ladies to wear an abaya or dress that’s got sleeves.
**If you’re not dressed modestly you will be made to buy something to wear so you can enter.
The pictures does not do it justice. The mosque is phenomenally beautiful.
As you can see from the pictures it is an extremely elegant building. It’s a very iconic place and I would recommend tourist to put it at the top of their places to see and things to do list.
As well as being a place of daily prayer for locals that live nearby, the mosque welcomes tourist all year round.
It’s IMPORTANT to remember to try and book online if you’re a tourist to visit the mosque. It’s free, simple and easy and will save you from queuing up when you get there. When you book you’ll get a QR code that the security guards will scan to let you access various different sections of the mosque. Without the QR code you’ll not be able to visit those places.
There’s ample of parking at the mosque.
