Had a meeting in Dorchester and was searching for a late breakfast so stopped off here thinking it was just a pub. I was shocked when I saw how nice the inside of the Kings Arms is. It is most definitely not "just a pub". The inside is huge, beautiful and very clean. The service was polite, welcoming and friendly, and the food was decent ????. I'll most certainly be back and will be more than happy to have client meetings here too.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Dorchester. The place has got real character, smart décor and really comfortable rooms. We stayed on a Friday night and there was no noise from late night revellers. The food was good in the bar and the restaurant looked very smart.

Amazing four night stay. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and made sure our every need was attended to. We stayed in a snug room and it was perfect for the two of us. Gorgeous shower, comfy bed, nice TV, cute little kettle and fridge, and super close to everything. The bar was gorgeous and we loved hanging out by the fire places in the lobby. One of the best things about this place is the included breakfast - so delicious and such an incredible deal!! Get the full King’s arms or the veggie breakfast. Our dinner was delicious too. You can’t go wrong! Also the history of the building is so fascinating and I loved being so close to a Victorian church and the Dorset museum.

What a beautiful pub/hotel. The rooms are enormous compared to B&Bs. The bar has great ale, gin and other spirit choices as well as lovely food. It was a very warm and welcoming inn on a cold rainy day.

It is really nice in here and comfy I like the comfy settees and arm chairs. The decor is beautiful and the staff were very helpful helpful our colleague who is in a wheelchair. Nice coffee too ! We will be visiting again in June

On Saturday 25/03/23 my husband and I had our wedding party here. It was absolutely beautiful and the organisation was so seemless. After a little bit of uncertainty when the previous events manager left we had the pleasure of meeting Natasha. From our first meeting to the actual day her level of professionalism was second to none. I must mention all the other wonderful staff who made our day so perfect. The room was set up so well, the food was lovely and nothing went wrong. We stayed overnight in the most beautiful room and had a delicious full English breakfast. It really was the wedding I have always wanted and the Kings Arms made it happen for us and we will never forget what a perfect time it was :) Thank You From Mr and Mrs Williams

Great, locally orientated menu. Wide drinks choice. Nice indoor environment. Good outdoor area too but let down by lack of care (or even water) for the plants supposed to improve the look of the space.

Really really really expensive, they don't take cash wich is a pain or it was for me that evening. In the bill they automatically add a service charge wich I totally disagree with and at around £8 for a glass of prosecco it's very precocious. I've been a few times and always walk away think yea thanks but no thanks for the future. If your ok paying around 10 to 13% more than you really should and your ok with paying a tip in advance for a service that you've not agreed, what would they do if we turned around and said..... im not paying the tip so you can take that off the bill ?
