We discovered this and the nearby parking areas after searching for a scenic spot to explore the coastal path from. A perfect place to start your walk or just sit for a picnic and take in the views out to Holywell (North East) and Godrevy Point (South West)
Wheal Coates is less than a mile West from here, and Trevaunance Cove is just under two miles to the East.

St. Agnes is a great place for a walk. Pretty easy, pretty flat...pretty views!
This parking lot here (and the smaller one about 50 meters away) is the best option to get as close as possible.

It's a nice little walk here to the Wheal Coates (or further) and back.
There's no charge to park you car. Place felt safe, there are always some walkers around. It's fully at the sun, but with the strong seabreeze it's not too hot.

Lovely spot.

One of the best views on the whole north coast of Cornwall you can see right down to Godrevy, with Porthtowan and the badlands in the fore ground. Great for a picnic or coast path walk or trail run. Get on it.

My favourite tranquil spot. Lots of parking with a guidance board at the far car park. Also here on one of the large stones is a plaque explaining why the stones are there. Many years ago a young couple accidently drove off the cliff from the car park and the man died. The cliff is 100 yards away so is a mystery, very sad all the same. Beautiful walks from here in either direction.

Beautiful walks along cliffs and around old mine works. Walk on to Chapel Porth for a great ice cream

a real challenge for access with any reasonably sized Motorhome .... really narrow access roads and then you're confronted with a height barrier that will exclude most MHs ..... better to park in the free car park in St Agnes Village and walk an extended loop to take in the headland the Beacon and the mines

Got moved along at 1 am, saw no signs stating no overnight vehicle camping and thoroughly inspected the one sign I did see at the parking area and saw nothing against staying. Would be nice if there were more and more obvious signs for no overnight parking/camping.
