Suruchi is one of the two restaurants in Abu Dhabi serving authentic Maharashtrian food. Kande pohe, kat vada and kothimbir vadi in snacks, Zhunka bhakri, pithla bhakri, thalipeeth and shrikhand puri in mini meals, phodnicha bhat, sabudana khichdi, puran poli and shengdana poli in breads, kokam sarbat, sol kadhi and piyush in beverages are very unique to any maharashtrian home.
Special mention must be made about their thalis (meals). They have mutton, chicken, fish, egg and veg thalis which are fulfilling and very tasty.
The preparation and taste is very homely and the chefs are specifically from maharashtra region which gives it the desired touch.
The only downside of Suruchi is space. However, recently it is expanded to make 10 sitting spaces. The space is very small and is mostly occupied by the kitchen leaving very little space to sit. It is more or less like a cloud kitchen and most of the orders are take aways and deliveries. So, dine in option with family or friends is not possible.
They have now increased their prices without improving their serving portions making it not so pocket friendly. There are equally good or better options in the vicinity at a lesser price.
They are on Zomato pro, talabat and noon.
If you want to relish authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, Suruchi is one of the option but not the only one.

Omg such a terrible experience we are so hungry we ordered fish thali spending 34 aed even after knowing that the quantity will be less but this quantity will not be enough for 1 person either. We r soo hungry and such a small container of rice with the 1 thin slice of king fish. If. We could have ordered from some other restaurant we could have be much satisfied.the fish is 70grms.worst experience

Recently I had their Maharashtraian thali which includes small rice, 2 chapati, 2 types of daal, one vegetable and papad. Their food taste was disappointed. It’s an low average taste. The meal is like for sick people. I ate many vegetarian restaurants before as well but they are not like this. Though quantity was good enough. But food was not tasty at all. Food was bit cold as well. And they are not provided any cutlery. Packaging was not good, very ordinary. Overall ???? I’ll never order again here.

Suruchi is one of the very few restaurants in Abu Dhabi serving authentic Maharashtrain food. They offer vegetarian as well as non vegetarian options. Its a small restaurant with few small tables. All dishes are not very expensive, very cheaper compared to other restaurants. Taste is average - Sabudana Vada is very tasty, but Vada pav or misal are just ok nothing extraordinary to write home about. Quantity is very less. Quality wise also is just average. Overall just ok. Try it only if you are desperately missing Maharashtrian delicacies.

❌Very bad first impression in terms of service. 2 star provided because of service.
I have visited Suruchi to try the king fish, Thali. Taking about food taste it was good and spicy but roti was very hard to bite. The sol kadhi age mentioned in the combo, but they have not provided unless I have asked them. And them later he charged me extra for that kadhi. Yay. Also wanted to try sweet dish, but they don’t have Gulab Jamun available. Yes, the setting arrangement is also not comfortable. Since it was afternoon. I have asked them to increase the AC temperature but they denied to do the same.

At last, very pathetic thing is that they charge me extra for Thali which is more than mentioned in the menu card .The hotel owner differently need to improve their service

I recently ordered the Veg. Special Thali through noon food app. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. The Kesari served is spoiled and warm with bad smell. Additionally, the menu was not good and I would not recommend ordering from Suruchi Restaurant. The poor quality of the food and the high price simply do not justify the experience.

Ordered Chicken friend rice. Hardly seen 2-3 pieces of chicken . Full of masalas and other spices. Dont know who taught the cook to prepare this. Worst food

I am beyond disappointed with this restaurant, 3 worst experiences lead me to write this review. Quality of the food has declined. Restaurant doesn't care for the customer. Order ETD of food was 1.11pm as per the application despite of frequent communication I received my order at 1.57pm. Restaurant response on phone was that food was handed over to delivery agent 30 mins before the scheduled ETD and delivery agent said he received the food at 1.51pm. Same situation happened twice in the past and on top that delivered order was wrong for which I had to wait another 45 mins. Restaurant people attitude on the phone is totally unprofessional as if they care damn about the food, customer, delivery or business. Guy was talking to on the phone wasn't ready to listen to me and abruptly disconnected the call before I could explain him the issue. I would suggest if any body want to try this restaurant better collect the food from restaurant don't order online. Dine in not available. Also check the order before you leave and Never ever order any occasional sweets from this place.
