Lovely place! It's so nice to take a walk and read all about the history of this place and surrounding areas! Plus millennium walkway is huge fun for little ones :)

As other reviewers have noted, a beautiful spot, with the Shrub Club cafe across the river perfectly placed for a welcome coffee/snack/beer etc.

A nice little walk. Google maps wasn’t terribly helpful getting us to the walkway, but a bit of exploring made for a good few minutes of sightseeing too!

had a lovely walk around new mills millenium walkway. by the canal and tors. highly reccomend on a nice summers day for a walk

It is a bridge over a river , a couple of minutes and you have walked it.
Impressive structure though and if your in the area definitely worth a visit

To be honest, it is just a bridge.
It does have nice views and is rather unusual.
However, once you've walked over it within 3 minutes, you've done it !!
The actual area around it is very pretty though, with cascading water and pretty paths.
You can walk quite far from here.

Quite a magnificent structure especially when the river is thundering below. It's well worth a visit, even in January

A must-visit if you’re going to New Mills! Unique structure offering some stunning views of places which would otherwise be pretty hard to see. We went on a weekday in September and there was literally no one else here, so I get the impression that it’s quite a hidden gem.
