Ordered from talabat to start with but Food is awesome ..Cannot compare to any other..Even the restaurant is approachable by call to discuss and they really listen to you and give you best suggestion..The Menu is awesome and the whatsapp menu is most fascinating ..Just superb ..I cannot wait to taste the whole menu ..Pricing is very good .Quality of food is nice with great aroma and flavour..The best punjabi restaurant i've come across outside India ..Been to 20 plus countries ..TRY IT ..DONT MISS..

Review will be edited in future once I visit and feel the ambience..

So far I've ordered multiple times from Zomato and Smiles app.

Initially Rajma chawal ordered and was great taste and felt better that we had home like food after long time.
But eventually I've keep ordering rajma chawal - unfortunately the consequent times it had filled with oil gradually.
Last time I was angry and gave minimum rating in Zomato since this food is mainly for my loving wife and she has a baby now.

So from healthy point perspective - I don't know about Punjabi cuisine much but I've figured too much butter or ghee or oil have been used in food and gravy.

In all the gravy - it is the same story ,even though the taste is great but when considering the too much oil - I would request the restaurant to may be to use the optimum amount of oil needed and not to add extra.

Add I feel the price is bit on the costlier side on some items.

Overall - great place to order and enjoy food, I will be ordering more and visiting restaurant in future.

Food was awesome , delicious, perfect mix of spices ???? ???? ... For the 1st time in UAE I got feeling of having Indian Punjabi Dhaba food... Super Vegetarian Food I had after very long time. ???? Highly recommended ????

Taste of Punjab is one of the Best Punjabi Restaurant in Abu Dhabi. The restaurant serves authentic Punjabi Cuisine. We ordered Amritsari Kulcha, Paneer Butter Masala, Veg Platter, Roti, Naan, Laccha Parata and Gobi Manchurian.

It's really difficult to find Amritsari Kulcha in Abu Dhabi, served similar in Amritsar, India. The Kulcha was OK with less stuffing inside. But, not the similar one which is served in Amritsar City of India. Chole was fine, but didn't had thick consistency.

The Veg Platter had good portion of Veggies with Paneer and Mushroom. The taste was perfect, but had red color coated over all veggies and same Masala taste except for seekh kabab. Hope it was colorful and different coat of masalas such as malai, tandoori, Zafran, green masalas.

Paneer Butter Masala was the excellent dish we had. Still we cannot forget the taste of it. It's a must try for Paneer Lovers. Laccha Parata and Garlic Naan was the best on its side.

Overall, we had different experience. The Taste, the quality and portion of the dish, the menu selection, the ambience, the behavior of the staff were all perfect. Hope they would have included "PUNJABI SOYA CHAAP" in their Menu, which completes the Taste of Punjab.

While in Abu Dhabi, I came across this restaurant, and being Punjabi got tempted to try it once I found Amritsari kulcha on their menu. Had an interaction with the owner as well with the chef to confirm it is the authentic type of kulcha. After trying, I must say it was a decent attempt. Chole could have been better though. Also tried their poori bhaji once which was also worth trying.

The food was good but a little oily, we tried amritsari 1 kulcha, garlic naan 1 mushroom sabji is good and the quantity is little less for 3 people so we have to order more....

They are intentionally not accepting cash, it's very bad Spl that cashier lady.

They putting customers in awkward position though they have POS machine available but still insisting customers to pay cash and feel them embarrassing.

Food is good except thali .
