This is the best available option in shabiya for Kerala cusine. Reason- hygienic serving, value for money meals, good staff, less crowd, modest pricing.

Bad experience,

Please do not buy biriyani from this shop

Ordered 1 chicken biriyani & 1 mutton biriyani dated- 06-01-21. Such a waste tasted biriyani i ever ate.
The chicken is old with oily, and made a duplicate gravy for that & served.
For mutton biriyani, the made same & smelly mutton too. To avoid that smell, they added ghee ib the mutton gravy.

The biriyani rice also not jeeraka shala, its long basmathi used to make fried rice, such a waste shop.

Bad smell over the table.
Staff behavior all good, but he can atleast tell its not dum biriyani, he just told that its basmathi rice.

Any way its my experience.

All the good reviews that I have read about this property are true. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine.
The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. I highly recommend it

We had Onam Sadya yesterday, It was really awesome.
All curries were with a touch of traditional karala taste, especially the cabbage thoran, ijjampuli & ada payasom was outstanding.

Also special thanks for accommodating our request to increase the quantity at the last moment.

We have ordered Onam sadya for our office staff.
The sadya was collected from the restaurant at 12:15pm as recommended by them to avoid the last minute rush.

The food was really tasty & all curries were having fresh food taste.

Yesterday was my second visit to taste of travancore . Went there as it was highly recommended from my frnds circle. Onam sadya i had yesterday was delicious and had real traditional touch same as i used to get from home . Everything they served was very tasty especialy kaalan and avial. Payasam was yummy too..
I had their porotta and butter chicken when last time i visited . That too i highly reccomend. Staffs are very polite and helpfull in chosing the dishes
