Beautiful gardens and monument dedicated to the founder of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed. The visitor centre explains the history and life of Sheikh Zayed and explains the concept, design and construction of the monument.

Very nice monument! Very clean place thanks to the cleaning crew who diligently keep everything clean! It's for free so go there and take some nice photos!

Visitors can start their journey at the visitor center, which provides an introduction to Sheikh Zayed's life and achievements. The center is interactive and features multimedia displays that allow visitors to learn about Sheikh Zayed's vision for the UAE and the challenges he faced in his quest for unity, progress, and development.

Beautiful garden with a contemporary memorial, the constellation, sitting in the middle of it. It memorializes Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Father of the Nation, as he came forth with the idea of unification of the several emirates into a new unified country.

Spectacular piece of art. The Memorial is built with intricate detailing and looks amazing specially during the night time. The memorial also has an indoor space where they show a documentary on the making of the Memorial which you should not miss. The whole place is serene, calm and quiet.

The Founder's Memorial is a creative genius dedicated to the founder of UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan.

The Constellation is a cuboid modernist art installation with a series of five polyhedrons, strategically suspended to form a 3D potrait of the Sheikh. They are lit up around 5.45pm.

The Constellation is surrounded by an elevated walkway giving you an all-round view. Around this is the Heritage Garden, with Ghaf trees, Date palms, Acacias, Henna, Sewak and numerous desert shrubs.

Entry is free to this absolute gem. Security are vigilant and place is always clean. Parking is available. Lots of areas to sit and observe. The visitors center gives a video coverage of the life of HH Sheikh Zayed.
