Thanks to the guys working there on Monday 17th July '23.
I got there only to discover it was payment by card only, I was having trouble with my bank card (chip failure turns out)I cheekily asked if they'd use theirs, the 1 didn't have his but 2nd guy did. I gave him £4 ( return ticket is £3.50)
So a BIG Thank You again for saving the day.
