Amazing place, staff is great! They were willing to watch over our kid while we played. The llays have different games, from laser tag to bowling, to babyfoot. Love it

Recently been there to celebrate a birthday. Old and needs renovation. Quality to price ratio is below par.

Great for laser tag, a little bit expensive but they do take the entertainer. It can get hot on the laser tag room need more A/C.

Great location in centre of town, inviting entrance area to an obviously once grand hotel.

The room itself was nice and spacious with high ceilings and period features. Bathroom was clean but like the rest of the room, it felt a bit tired.

Perfectly acceptable and perfectly clean but definitely had seen better days.

The staff were very welcoming and efficient, a safe storage area for our bikes.

There is no breakfast with the room. It's a separate business that deals with catering. We left very early so can't comment on the food.

I would certainly use again

Our group of 8 had afternoon tea in the Vintage Tea Room. The sandwiches, soup, scones and cake were very good. Service was timely and accurate. The food was served on vintage china. The tea was nice and hot.

It's not a 5 star hotel so don't expect 5 star accommodation. However, the rooms are clean, comfortable and cleaned very often The manager Leo is very, very friendly and helpful. He can't do enough to try and make your stay as smooth and pleasant as possible. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Was here for two nights, and I had a single room. It was comfortable and enough for me, maybe if you are pernickety it wouldn't be for you. Only downside was the ability to keep the window open to allow fresh air. Didn't have breakfast, as I used the Baker along the road. Ideal location for touring this area.

Stayed here for a night, and it was a very pleasant experience. The man that checked me in, served me in the bar, and think did it all, was a very helpful and friendly gent. Was a nice welcome to the hotel. The hotel itself is very grand looking, with lovely interior and a great bar downstairs. Maybe a little bit of TLC and this hotel would be top class. The room was great for the price. The only down point was that the bathroom was not great in my room. Basically the shower head didn't work, and just pour water out on my head like a hose and the shower screen didn't stop the water from flooding the floor. I still gave 4* as the hotel is perfectly situated in town for what I needed.

Stayed here for one night , it’s the worst Hotel we have ever stayed in, after a long drive , there was no food or drink we had to go out and find some where to eat , the room was freezing cold the radiator was only lukewarm the bathroom if you can call it that was freezing no heating at all we couldn’t shower the shower curtain was full of black with mould , couldn’t wait to get out of there .

Very tired and dated . On the plus side, the room was clean and fresh towels were provided each day. However the room above us has a potentially serious fire risk from a leaking shower into our bathroom ceiling, which obviously has lights and extractor fan, not to mention the obvious stains on the ceiling. If the owners read this, then you need to get your finger out.
