This terminal has really modernised over the last 2 years. all vehicles entering the port are screened both by camera and electronic devices.
The same applies to the exit.
They are very strict on induction so make sure you are inducted before trying to enter. (They will turn you round)

Staff are rude and honestly unless you literally have to know every inch of the place the signage is useless and get lost easily. First time for anyone go left at first round about straight down all the way to security you need a card to get into the port itselfs.

Spot on place , busy and productive . Fascinating to watch these huge cranes delivering containers to wagons in a safe and efficient manners .

Clamp truck operator in containers receiving must be one of the most arrogant people i have ever met, his pretence of power is overwhelming, yet the guy in loaded containers (block 600) is the exact opposite, he is very helpful, especially to newcomers to the site.

Once you get used to it it's fine. You can get a fast turnaround in here. Only real moan is that they load and unload containers in 4 or 5 terminals
