It's a ferry so not a lot to say really, not like you have a choice :). Nice enough though. Not much in the terminal building other than loos and ticket office. Nice cafe / coffee shop at the jetty. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely scenery to look at while you wait. They do cram the cars on though - not much space between to open doors. Ferry itself is clean and comfortable. Very nice ports to leave and arrive.

Very nice comfortable boat with a friendly crew and tons of seats. The free WiFi works well. I’ll collect a coffee from the bar downstairs later.

Tip:
Upstairs on the observation deck is exceptionally comfy.

The crew at Uig and on the Ferry from Uig to Lochmaddy were excellent, providing a very comfortable and efficient ferry ride which departed and arrived exactly on time.
Unlike the incompetent Calmac management in the head office who let their crew and workers down badly by changing the time of our ferry from Oban by bringing it forward 3 hours but not bothering to tell us this critical fact ! So we had to drive 150 miles from Oban to Uig at 4am on a Sunday to catch this alternative ferry and then drive another 50 miles from Lochmaddy to Lochboisdale where we were trying to go to in the first place.

Our expirience was very good here in Uig, ferry was punctual and the staff really friendly.

Friendly helpful staff and once the upgrading work is finished it will he a very good ferry port.

The best food I have ever had on a boat, way better than The Royal Yacht Britannia.

Ferries normally run to schedule except when high winds prevent sailings. Parking lanes on MVHebrides on the Uig - Lochmaddy route are very narrow so it can be very difficult to get in and out of your car. A lift is available for disabled passengers who have special boarding provisions. Ferries are extremely busy (full) during the summer holiday season.
